The merchant processor holds a payment based on risk assessment. Honestly, what's the big issue with a payment hold if you're not stealing money?

Holding payments even 2 weeks is bad for me. This is because I have google ad costs in the thousands per month. I need those funds to pay for the google ads. Even if you don't pay for ads, you would have to pay for shipping and your supplier.

I'd go with iOffer. They are ranked 2nd or 3rd. But they have alot of counterfeit items like ⊗⊗⊗⊗ software, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ purses, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ rolexes etc. So if your stuff is real, you won't get much sales. Customers on there can negotiate with you and they also tend to be low income folks.

I sold on ebid but only got about 5 sales per month. Now if you're selling high end expensive stuff, I'd recommend setting up your own website and drive traffic to it via google adwords.

great poing 411guru, not everyone has weeks to be able to just wait and wait around for funds, some people need those funds to support their business, their expenses, bills etc. etc. which is my exact problem i have an item i need to sell immidiately. i am in need of funds my ebay account was suspended so ebay is not an option the idea of a trading assistant doesnt sound appealing to me nor does a pawn shop so im then left with the option of looking for another site or alternative. you stated the obvious first edition i am already well aware of that. however most sites basically to holds on any new account in my experiences. my question again simply was if anyone knows or has used any of those sites and if they put restrictions on new accounts trying to sell a high end item cause god knows that we all know that ebay sure does. i can deal with a week or two hold. but if its done through paypal in likelyhood a hold isnt required. just trying to figure out if i can sell my item on a new account with no expected problems. simple question really, or at least i thought? i really just have 1 item im in an absolute hurry to sell. an egay isnt an option. i will defiently check out ioffer then and probably go with them i was already looking at them. thank you very much for your freedback 411guru. so i take it the restrictions they implement then on new accounts would be little to none? very good then, this is what im looking for. because of the fact their are so many scammers out there most these sites feel obligated to make it impossible for new sellers to just sell off a expensive item if their in need of cash or otherwise.

Almost all merchant processors will do this, unless you have a google checkout account that is 60 days old, or if you make a direct merchant account, where you can accept credit cards.

You're welcome. iOffer links up with paypal and google checkout. They also have their own payment system. They don't have any restrictions and you can transfer your feedbacks from ebay. There isn't has much traffic compared to ebay but there is some. Listing is free and you only pay for listing upgrades and when you sell it. However, I don't know how well you will do on there because if you're stuff is real, then you would have to compete with other sellers with counterfeit stuff thats much cheaper. iOffer is known for non-real items and so do the customers.

entropay is only allowed outside of the US. You can't even sign up for it unless you're in another country. Although, there are ways.......

a vcc does not give you verification of identity, it verifies the address only. There are many options. I use vanillavisa quite well, or you could always purchase an address verified account

i know but in ioffer, all it wants it a cc or debit card to verify identity. so any gift card
will work for this? thats all its asking for. it doesnt want documents or anything.

You have to use a prepaid card that will allow you to register the address, that's really your best bet.
