Hey everybody,

I recently started up my own website, and I’m looking for ways to advertise it. I’ve been looking at the google Adwords thingymajjig, but I’m not too sure about it. I'm finding it all a bit confusing!

Does anyone here use it? How does it work? is it any good?

It works well, theres a learning curve though.. but once you master adwords you'll find it'll bring in most of your sales.

One tip... use phrase keywords.

"buy this widget"

the thing I don’t understand though is the payment. How is it charged? Do they charge you every time someone clicks on the google link that leads to your website? do you get charged by how many times your website link is shown? :confused:

There are many options, but the favorite is PPC. Which is pay per click.
