smithgroup | 08-19-2010 02:49 PM | Price They dont publish prices so if you got the time, fill out the form and tell us how overpriced they are! |
Burning | 08-19-2010 03:21 PM | I have seen some HIGH volume sellers using kyozou.com
I have never used them before but I have bought from a seller using that place as checkout. It's a very nice platform for buyers to checkout but I have never tired it on a sellers point of view.
I am sure it is VERY expensive but if you have high volume than it's worth your time. |
No prices out front, or even "starting at..." is a sign its for the big players and not cheap. They want a sales person to get at you and make a pitch. |
Hi all,
Thought I'd chime in here. I work in the sales dept. @ Kyozou - I realize at times it may be a little daunting (or time-consuming) to fill out an entire form just to answer a simple question.
Thought I'd join up on the forums to make information as accessible as possible for the entire community here. So fire away!
btw, Kyozou isn't only for the "heavy-hitters" of the eBay world, our pricing is actually quite flexible.

Thought I'd join up on the forums to make information as accessible as possible for the entire community here. So fire away! | Hi Dave -
You can start your crusade of awesome by answering the very obvious question that's been posed multiple times in this thread.
Post your prices or logout. |
Not a problem. Allow me to preface it though..
The reason we don't post pricing on our website is because we do have quite a variety of pricing options available. (To which you will say, "and? so does my cell phone provider..")
In the past, we've disclosed our pricing directly on our website and found it to be a barrier for someone wanting to inquire about our services in greater detail.
With that, our pricing starts at a monthly minimum of $300 - however we either bill by the listing or by the sale (a % of). Our starter plan is $0.25/listing at a monthly minimum of $300. On the per-sale side, the starter plan is 1.5% of sales at a monthly minimum of $500.
So you either pay the percentage/per listing rate or you pay the minimum, not both combined.
Again, we are in no way attempting to be evasive with our pricing - nor are we trying to make ourselves look expensive (we actually offer the lowest barrier to entry of all our direct competitors).
Hope that helps guys, let me know if you have any more questions.

smithgroup | 03-09-2011 03:11 PM | Thanks for the info Dave, but I don't think MOST people on this forum would be able to spend $300 - 500 to use koyzou because we spread sales over multiple eBay accounts, unless Kyozou:
1. Can be used over multiple accounts with one fee to Kyozou
2. Kyozou doesn't share any info with eBay
3. Kyozou accepts PayPal on behalf of the seller and/or blocks eBay & PayPal from knowing which PayPal account the payment is being made to and which eBay auction the payment is for.
4. Other things that other members may know that I'm not thinking of right now. |

Multiple eBay accounts under one Kyozou account: Yes
Multiple PayPal accounts under one Kyozou account: Yes
Everything else is a NO.
I apologize if I've ended up in the wrong forum, was just looking to answer the pricing related inquiries.

liimey | 03-17-2011 08:24 AM | Kyozou Hey guys,
I have been using the kyozou platform for over 8 years now and I have to say in general the whole system is excellent. It is very much like ownig a virtual warehouse. It does everyhting I can possibly need. You can have as many eBay, paypal and Amazon account under one Kyozou account as you want. It is unlimited. Adding inventory is very easy and once in the system, you can duplicate it, modify as many times as you want so you dont have to create a new lisitng for each eBay account.
One of the best features is the intergration with UPS. Basically once a buyer orders something from your ebay account, Kyozou is intergrated into eBay so the buyers just checks out as normal and is guided to PayPal to make payment. Once payment is made, the system update and you just go to the shipping section each day, click on a few buttons and hey presto, you have a thermal label machine spurining out your orders. I can print 50 orders a day in about 5 minutes.
It is very easy to manage your listings as you can even look at all your inventory. order, sales etc all under one screen, rather than switching from account to account.
You can also intergrate with many different payment providers, PayPal, authorize.net, world pay and so on.
You can set up seller accounts, with ebay, Amazon and Overstock.com
As far as the cost goes, I have been with them for a while now so I have not been affected by the new pricing structure, but on average it costs me $330 per month, but I do large volume. I understand that this might be too much if you do small volume, but there are other methods to pay that are cheaper.
it is a no brainer for me as without the system I would have to hire an extra 2 staff to cope with the work load.
Tech support is great too ( as long as you get the right tech on the line. I just ask for my usual guy each time I need help as he is great) for any minor tech issues I have had in the past.
I also have a website, which is platformed through Kyozou. It is a little basic platform, but works great too. The bonus is that all my years of setting up listing items into kyozou and I can just use the same lisitngs on my website.
Anyway, I dont want to go on and on ( as it sounds Like I work for the sales team, but i dont). All in all a great system |

We are considering signing up for this - we saw your post back from 2011 - we were wondering if you still like the system 4 years later? Also, do you know any of the competitors of Kyozou so I can research them as well? Would you still recommend Kyozou as your first choice? Thanks!! | All times are GMT -5.
