Craigslist - Scam paradise
 

Good grief. 8 out of 10 emails I got are from scammers who want to steal my belongings on that site. So sick and tired of getting emails like them.

You and me both.That`s why i don`t sell on craigslist anylonger.

Some products are worse than others for sure. They spend all day sending 1000s of emails with the same cut and paste crap. Broken English with great offers... But I find some good sales off there so I dont mind weeding through the crap. BUT all sales are done through a standalone website so they have to checkout through PayPal or merchant. That weeds out the scammers pretty fast

Not practical in many situations I know. But its free as apposed to 10% on eBay.

When I list on Craigslist I select the "hide" option and leave my phone number in the ads. No scammers :-)

Exactly...this weeds out almost 99% of scammers and leaves the REAL people; however, I suggest getting CALL FORWARDING if you POST A LOT on CL. But I won't explain the rules here, THIS...IS...EBAYYYY!!!!!!!

Btw, if you sell items on there...obviously DONT accept PP
