Has anyone tried Froogle/Google Base?

Wondering if anyone has tried Froogle/Google base yet, if so does it attract alot of customers? Ebay is getting out of hand with the 10 item limit. It is the holiday season for crying out loud, and i have to find as many alternatives as possible.

I found it not to be as effective as I thought it would be.

Plus it became a chore after awhile, having to upload product listings so often.

Just goes to show, even the biggest can't steal a customer base elsewhere overnight. I think people want variety and different options, even if Facebook went big into the marketplace/auction game I still think people would just think "Hey, I just go to eBay for that or Amazon for this." They didn't have anything unique to offer, just tried to be an alternative. If they had a different angle like being able to promote your ads more pro actively than eBay then they may have something.

There is the deal breaker right there. A huge company offering something thats already available is not going to explode. One of these companies comes up with something the same, but "new or unique" and thats when we will see some real action

A Unique Selling Point or USP for anyone curious. The essential part of any new business plan.

Bringing an old thread back to life, I am going to give this a try, let's see If I can get some buyers.
