What in the World????

I just received negative feedback on Amazon from a buyer stating "shouldn't advertise what you don't have" just because I canceled the listing due to the item no longer being available. Is there anyway I can have this feedback removed???

Not to mention after the items did sale, Amazon mysteriously had these items still for sale even after my quantity sold out, so it was basically there fault, not mines, due to some type of error, so I took the item down. All of this happened at least a month ago, now all of a sudden the buyer wants to leave me negative feedback a month later, give me a break!!

That happened to me and I posted about it. I think you can search my posts

Amazon still won't own up to their issue. If you don't mind, can we trade Amazon Id's? Then if they deny it, we can use each other as a reference. I could use it to say " well it happened to so and so also" if needed

No problem if you think it's a bad idea. But I don't think they will take away the feedback even if it is their fault. They won't fix my customer metrics either and like me, you will be left with a late shipment. :noidea: eventually Amazon will cancel the order so it will show up as a cancellation. In a few days, I'll see if it shows up as a cancellation AND a late shipment all due to their computer error...

This is VERY COMMON! Just look at the posts from book sellers on Amazon's seller forums. This has happened to me many times. At first I complained, but it does no good. I do not know ANYONE who has successfully had this type of complaint removed. Amazon's canned answer is that the seller must have been mistaken about the quantity entered when they placed the listing.

No it won't get removed, to get removed has to fit this category:

The feedback includes words commonly understood to be obscene or profane.

The feedback includes personally identifiable information, such as e-mail addresses, full names, telephone numbers, etc.

The entire feedback comment is a product review, such as "The Acme Super-Widget lacks the sharpness and speed of the Acme Ultra Widget." However, if the feedback comment is only partly a product review but ALSO contains feedback about the seller's service, such as "Seller's shipping service was very slow, and the Acme Super-Widget lacks the sharpness and speed of the Acme Ultra Widget," then the feedback would NOT be removed.

The entire feedback comment is regarding fulfillment or customer service for an order fulfilled by Amazon. Feedback reviewed and determined to be relating explicitly to fulfillment and customer service for an order fulfilled by Amazon will not be removed, but a line will appear through the rating and the statement, "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience" will be added.

I think it was you who posted this info before. I told an amazon rep to go to the Amazon Seller forum as there were many people who had this same issue. That guy cared.

Not sure why I did that considering the info came from this forum and i never checked it out but oh well. The last Amazon rep lied to me, he's the one instigating the review. Funny that I never got an email to give my feedback about this Rep guy, he was quite arrogant.
