Cheap, Easy + Good Looking Websites
 

I really feel its time I got serious and made my own site.

Items I sell aren't really VERO issues, so its not because of that, more the fact I'm tired of buyers dictating every single thing I do on eBay!

I just want a templated site, where I can add my pictures and descriptions, terms etc. Ready to link upto PayPal (I don't have a problem with PP, it's eBay the issue!)

Don't really want to spend more than £250 to get it up and running, I don't mind paying a monthly fee, as long as the site looks nice and not messy!

I'm in the UK, so prefer carts/templates designed for here.

I already have my domain I bought ages ago, and I don't want something that has to have the companies name in the address...like *example*.webs.co.uk

Any advice/suggestions would be great!

You are kinda asking for alot for cheap. I am in the IT business and one of my good friends is a professional web developer and SEO Specialist and i know he charges $80 an hour for doing a full web site with SEO work. Its like anything else thou, you get what you pay for.

I think he is wanting to do the work his self.

What I use is oscommerce. I'm hosted with justhost and it was free with the hosting, It also has a help forums to help you on oscommerce. Lot's of templates, add ons.

To see what any commerce site looks like, just good search under images. Say if you want zen cart, then search google "zen cart templates" then click images.

This will take time to do. It will not be easy. Good luck!
