also to attract alot of sellers you should let people list on your site for free for like the first year of its launch, you will get alot of sellers, there are no fees so the sellers have nothing to loose,
just thought id share the idea.

Another idea. Pay people to bid. No auction site does that. Like .5 cents for every bid. To make sure people don't just bid for to get .5 cents, make it payable only when they win the auction. Call it paidbidz.com You can give me credit for it later lol.

No this idea rox. You always see bidders on ebay bid at the last moment. This will prevent that. And, because of the incentive, bidders will bid more, thus increasing the final sale price, making the seller happy. And since you only pay the winner based on how many times he bid, for ex. 10 times X .05 cents, = .50 cents. How many people are going to bid on 10 laptops and win all 10?

Then to cover the pay outs, you become affilates with aspkins site! I'm a freaking genius. I think I'm going to start my own haha.......

Heres an idea mix in a social web sight like myspace and you tube with ebay. Ebay has there lame ass version, but it isn't going to work because... well because we all hate ebay. But if you had a myspace or facebook to start with and added an auction sight. Or even advertised your auction web sight on myspace or you tube with coupons good for any listing, paid for by other advertisers. Just what ever you do don't let China in on your auction sight or you'll never get anything but ⊗⊗⊗⊗ crap, at low low ⊗⊗⊗⊗ crap China don't give a crap to make any money pricing.

Just to ask, what would make your site better than eBid, which has a good platform, and is heavily promoted via adwords..... yet still has very low sales?
