Yeah hard to make comparisons though to be honest completely different beasts.

People tend to only put things at buy it now on ebid too.

I can see peoples arguments that listing on ebid (even though slow) should increase overall sales...

However my view im afraid is its not worth the time it would take me to list stock on there for the return it would provide.

BUT.........if you can use actual info, list unlimited items right away and let them ride, then for the low low price of $50 you can get a slow trickle of sales forever. How long does it take a new account on ebay to get to the point where it can list thousands of items?

Starting from scratch, by this time tomorrow I could have 500 listings up and running for a one-time cost of $50 and then just sell a couple a month with that account on "cruise". I could list my entire 5000 unique item inventory in the time it takes me to cust and paste the titles. And then sell multiples of each item. Hell, 50K items posted and hardly ever have to visit the site.

I just bid on something in my first 10 minutes on EBID. I expect to get it for $95 and resell it on ebay for $225. Limited edition item, sold plenty so I am cinfident in my numbers.

Not worth spending any time or effort on....and to me, traffic is everything...and it doesn't have any.
