I've used eBid/eCRATER/iOffer - using all of them help increase sales go for it - but no were close to eBay/Amazon sales yet unfortunately. |
newjerseymax | 04-24-2012 08:02 PM | ebay

imjustme | 04-25-2012 11:55 AM | It's sad to see Bonanza is actually becoming eBay, instead of an eBay alternative. |

What about that Etsy site - how is that doing? |
imjustme | 04-25-2012 03:13 PM | I don't use Etsy personally but I read everywhere that it's a heaven for handmade. Looks nice. |
varld | 05-05-2012 12:49 PM | Etsy is good for Vintage items( aka items YOU or your company makes) or materials for items ( excellent site regardless)
Plunderhere.com is a good site coming up. |
incniu | 05-07-2012 02:49 PM | bonanza? how is it?:violin: |
Cashew | 05-07-2012 10:47 PM | ebay (3)....by far, makes me the most $$
ecrater (1)...a few sales a month...helps
Blujay(1)...picking up for me....#2 for me but way way less the the almighty bay
Since i have never had an Amazon account.....i might just give it a shot real soon since i don't sell any high risk items at all
i might just as well put the time into some of these other free listing sites also...

Going to be good to experiment. |
GreenBean | 05-10-2012 09:31 AM | Etsy rocks for your own creations.
On the whole the customers are OK.
I've done bulk orders with a couple of different sellers.
Top quality workmanship.
Have a lady in Poland who hand-makes an item I use. Just aces
Even using paypal there with (few) problems. |
Etsy works off of pp ...hope other choices available. |
varld | 05-11-2012 12:04 AM | Etsy is actually working itself up there pretty well.
Same with Delcampe.net, id say its more of an old head site, not to many young guys on there. |

A good feature( at the moment) is the availaility of being able to have a 'converstation' with the seller/buyer to arrange a transaction.
It's possible to have 'special' listings.
But ( because there are always butts in real life) etsy will pull listings or close down a shop. Not heard of ayone ever finding a explanation.:smash: |

What do you mean by "special listings"??
By the way, do any of these sites require verification with credit card or phone or anything? |

Yes, Almost all require a VCC on the account. Etsy checks AVS VCC. |

BubbleTea | 06-26-2012 03:11 PM | Do these sites have a Vero-like thing going on?
Is it ok to sell Vero stuff on them?
Do they do things like restrict or suspend your account without warning, like eBay?
Thanks. |
unkown5454 | 06-26-2012 05:19 PM | Yes they do. They show up in Google, so IP lawyers easily find them and send cease & desist letters like they would any other e-commerce site. Just because they are not EB, doesn't mean they will be complete ignorant dumb*sses to what's being trafficked on their site. |

It was designed with you in mind and as an alternative to Ebay! As an Ex Power seller on Ebay, I was fed up with their excessive fees and lack of customer service. Better yet, ebay started a random rampage of account suspensions on small businesses and consumers.
