You talking about your own ecommerce shop/site?

pitviper 05-21-2012 10:30 AM

No the auction site/seller site webstore dot com.

Will need a lot of SEO and website store traffic links.

RSOT is correct. You will need to drive your own traffic there. Don't believe whatever nonsense you are reading about that marketplace. I have tested many things there that sell consistently on other sites, but almost NEVER sell on webstore. Plus, the design is horrible and a sore on the eyes to look at. Search the forum for other alternatives. There are ones much better than this childish excuse for a website.

Can always build a webstore from pre-built html + flash website but as rsot mentioned, the big task is getting traffic to your site and actually getting people to buy from you.

I know the principle but I know nothing about the method ha - wish I could learn...hmm think there was a warrior forum for this or something.

Indeed sales are very slow there, I have had only 4 sales there over the past 7 months. However, each sale was a single item order which was $200 and above, so I am not complaining.

Since the site is free (with exception of address verification via snail mail) why not give it a shot? Doing all your listings via spreadsheet and then uploading to the various different sites like webstore and eCrater is relatively quick.

i've been selling there for about a year and a half and in that time only had about 7-9 sales total.... they are very slow.
