What are the positives and negatives? |
aspkin | 05-26-2008 01:22 PM | Simple answer: Godaddy |
2eXclusiive | 05-26-2008 06:19 PM | godaddy.com |
Sammi007 | 05-26-2008 08:51 PM | I heard that Godaddy want to sell, sell, sell their products...and that although it is cheaper than other hosting services like Yahoo....it lacks quality....Is this true, or are people just hatting on GoDaddy? |
2eXclusiive | 05-26-2008 09:11 PM | im using godaddy, and its great and easy to use, it doesnt get any better, if your looking to buy a domain name, you can buy it from anywhere, diff. places = diff. prices but godaddy is def. one of the cheapest places, and i just bought hosting from godaddy and wow, it showed me step by step directions on how to set up my hosting account, could not be easier beleive me. |
aspkin | 05-26-2008 09:32 PM | GoDaddy is good for newbies. I also use HostGator, which is very good hosting at a good price too. I have a server at The Planet, which also works well. This forum is on it. |
2eXclusiive | 05-26-2008 09:44 PM | aspkin how many websites do you currently have?
well ecommerce websites? |
aspkin | 05-26-2008 11:12 PM | I have a whole bunch of different websites; they all make me money one way or another. Total I probably have around 75 sites. Right now I'm in the process of creating about 10 more affiliate sites. I'm uploading files and configuring databases now. :) |
imthatguy | 05-27-2008 02:08 AM | Your up there where I'm at. I had to sell most of them. I couldn't manage all of them/ sometimes having too many will hold you down |
aspkin | 05-27-2008 07:07 PM | Yeah, you just have to be really organized or you'll never get anything done. Excel does wonders. |
2eXclusiive | 05-27-2008 08:11 PM | =O
how do you get people to use your affliate websites aspkin?
i know some websites offer ps3,plasma tv,...etc. for signing up for one offer and reffering like 10 people to sign up with their website and complete an offer, is that what you do?
also why dont you sell all those websites, you'll probably get atleast $1,000,000.00 for them and then you can create one huge website that has an incredible cash flow...
i don't know im just throwing some ideas at you. |
aspkin | 05-27-2008 11:07 PM | Haha, emm I use Adwords and good O' SEO. |
yogarelax | 05-27-2008 11:37 PM | Some people never learn. I seem to be at the top of the list. I should have never read this post, but I did so....what the hell are domains??? aspkin | 05-28-2008 02:30 AM | aspkin.com is one of my many domain names. It's just the site name. You can buy a domain from places like Godaddy.com. |
yogarelax | 05-28-2008 02:38 PM | Thanks everyone, I am going to read about it first ...ask questions later. |
2eXclusiive | 05-28-2008 04:32 PM | great, have fun reading
=D |
ebay-sucks | 06-04-2008 10:21 PM | I have used allot of different ones, godaddy is easier then most. The only thing you have to watch is there contracts that are kinda hidden.
I have sold many website names and sites I created with godaddy, it was simple to set up and transfer etc. |
thelizardking | 06-04-2008 10:36 PM | Im thinking of using HostMonster, anyone use them?
I used GoDaddy years ago and didn't really have any problems but I thought it was expensive after I added everything. HostMonster has some good reveiws on the net and includes everything in one package. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:31 AM. | |
