What is an SSL certificate?
What is an SSL and what does it do. Can anyone explain it in a nutshell. Do I need a private SSL instead of a shared SSL for my own website's online store. I host with HostGator and their price for a private SSl is $75/year and free installation if buying from them. It is the right SSL for me?
What are sub domains? Do I need subdomain names for my online store?
In addition, what is SSL for subdomain name. Do I need to get one?
