I wonder if it is OK to give ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name & address for a domain name registration. What if I have to show proof that I am the one who owns the domain name legally if some law-related issues arise later on?

I wouldn't give a false name. If you register through Godaddy, you can have the domain register it private, they use domains by proxy service. Someone would need to file a lawsuit to get your personal info, Cost is (est) 7.00 per year per domain extra.

Emm, yeah it's a bad idea to give ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details for a domain name. For one your domain can be revoked.

Just use domains by proxy like Zymo suggest. And you won't get harassed as much.

I had registered with my real info recently, and then I edited it with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info. But I have been so worried and asked for your advice. Now I will edit my profile back to my real info. Thank you guys so much for the advice.
