Default Can I use CS-Cart with different domain names?

Hi, I am about to buy CS-Cart. My question is: Can I upload the software to different websites (different domains)?

When bought they require a URL in which you can install cs-cart, so they're restricted in a sense. But I talked to a CS-Cart rep, and he told me it isn't enforced, so I guess its okay to use for multiple domains.

you may want to look at mercantec, it's free and works with many domains.

I just emailed CS-Cart asking about this issue and this is they wrote to me:

"One CS-Cart license grants using CS-Cart for running ONE e-shop ONLY. One
shop is a shop having the same look'n'feel and using the same database of
products/customers/whatever. It means that you can have several URLs
referring to the same shop, but you can't run more than one shop having one
license even under one domain.

To run CS-Cart on multiple websites/domain names you will need to purchase
appropriate number of additional CS-Cart licenses.

One extra CS-Cart license purchased after the first one costs $165. And
includes extra 15 days of technical support.

I hope this makes sense."

However, If I buy their software and upload to multiple domains how do they know?

Not sure buddy, I doubt it's tracked and the people I talked to said it wasn't enforced, so I guess you might have to chance it.

The cart is tracked. I got caught last month and my hosting company shut me down after CS cart contacted them.

That's bad news. I don't want to pay extra $165 for the 2nd domain.
