Hosting company for cs-cart
 

Hello all, I am building my own website via cs-cart. I have never had a storefront before, just regular websites. Does anyone have any recommendations as far as which hosting company/plan would be a good choice ? I will not have much traffic at first but hopefully this will change. Any suggestions would be more than helpful. Thanks

A shared hosting solution is sufficient for your requirement, but when you select a shared hosting plan please check if that company provides vps solutions too then it'll be easy for you to upgrade your plan when your site grows and you start to get thousands of daily visitors.

Thanks. My problem is I dont know much about hosting, still doing my research. Let's say for example can I use host gator business plan under web hosting? Or do I need to get a vps? Thx again those companies look good

A VPS is ideal for hosting websites as they are easily upgradable and you control the server as root. It will be hard to find a VPS for a few bucks more than your shared hosting plan.

Shared hosting plans are all generally the same.

I think Arvixe should be mentioned in this thread. it´s a really good host.
