Oh like friends??? So the status on your wall? Don't involve family/friends + business unless you and your wife are working with each other or putting the kids into business some day to help out!

And yet I still get IDIOTS fighting over 1 auction when I got 49 others with 0 bids on it and and cheaper price!!!!!!!!! WHY!?!?!?!?! :noidea: :tears: :pry: :mad2: :help:

DO NOT ADV YOUR FB BUS PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

if you are going to spend money on eyeballs, TAKE THEM TO YOUR PAGE, don't send them back to some flipping FB page..... :ballchain:

CPM - SUCKS, the whole way around no matter who or what you are dealing with.

CPM is the same as those annoying people at the mall giving you free samples.... not worth the money....crappy distracted non-buying lead.

run away, its cheap for a reason.

Agreed. Another thing people do is have FB and Twitter links on their Business Website. Not a good idea to take people away from your Money page.

Put FB & Twitter links in your emails, but don't advertise.

Well I have seen BIG sellers on EBAY! Doing the same and they got like 4,000+ items sold in that auction and feedback is like 20,000 for the last 30 days. And they are doing just THAT!

Okay maybe he could put that in the message once they buy the ITEMS!

Like thank you for buying our product, it will arrival in a few short days, here is your tracking #, plus join ur on facebook. <-- How about that? And you can set this up with ebay stores!

Yeah it's what I was just thinking then if it's bad then do it in the emails after the buy it! I had no idea I also did see sellers post it in their auctions!

chuck norris should have died 5 years ago but the grim reaper is scared to tell him :-)

i have success with an ebay storefront

likes are best bought from fiverr IMHO

mista_khan 02-04-2013 12:54 PM

i guess you all have a valid point, its a matter of trial and error i guess, but maybe better to add in emails after they purchase item.

I think what you need to bear in mind is social media sites are a source for leads only.
You direct them to your cash cow .
They must be thought off as an add on .
Directing to ebay is just adding to your problems .
An ideal world sees all sales from your website meaning you are in control selling via a merchant card reciever .
How many BIG companies sell on ebay ? Not many .
They have there systems in place allready but they all still have a facebook page.
