Is anyone selling on here and making decent sales?

steve70000 03-21-2013 12:30 PM

do you mean asos clothes???????????

baloch 03-21-2013 12:31 PM

a market place for clothing and vintage clothes. Have not heard of it until now. Have you tried it.

SellingKing 03-21-2013 12:43 PM

It's clothing only which is my area of business so any info on this site would be very helpful.

Re: Asos

I had a peek, the only thing is that you or another real person has to model the clothes in the photos. So if you are stealth, then I would recommend modelling yourself, or using a model who's not close to you! Maybe find somebody off the street :)

Re: Asos

The great thing about Asos is that they ship worldwide for free (regular sales) and there is no minimum amount. They had a sakes recently and I got some great stuff sent overseas. Always change the currency to GBP if you use another currency then they try ti give you a crap exchange rate

SellingKing 03-21-2013 01:24 PM

That's stupid you have to model everything! What about companies who print each order as it comes in?

I would use them, but would be impossible to have someone model all the designs I sell. There are hundreds.

Photoshop man?
Model 2 clothes only (cutcopyadjusthighlight)
And just Apply it on your other clothes. It's easier than it sounds but i take Some time behind the screen

Photoshop did cross my mind. Just not sure if Asos would be happy with all my pics looking the same? Same model, same pose, same background etc. I might send them an email and ask them a few questions about it.

Re: Asos

Just send an email to your supplier in China telling him that you want to buy more of his "Adidos" clothing, but could he do you a favour, and photograph himself in the clothing before he dropships them to you ebay customers :)

If you decide to experiment, could be a move to dual experiment with the other site on this thread:
