Lightbulb Problems--typing?? Tech people....

HI:
Anyone ever experience your cursor "magically" moving while you are typing?
It then jumbles your sentences?
Example--
If im gonna type 2 sentences..
When on the 2nd line--all the sudden I find Im typing in the middle of the words ive already typed on the 1st sentence--make sense?

I looked it up on the web and some folks said maybe a touch pad error--others said maybe a hack??

I am using a Compaq notebook--with an external ION lighted keyboard..
BUT-the ext keyboard has been on for several months--this just started 2-3 days ago.
And-Ive done no updates, nor installed anything new..

(MY Spelling is bad enough as it is..)
Thanks!

Try unplugging the keyboard and turn off the computer. Try that maybe will help.

Sounds like an error with the keyboard. Either some keys are messed up or it's not connected correctly?

Do you have another keyboard you can try?
