Activity: 0% Longevity: 63% | | What are the top best eBay Alternatives for 2013?
I thought my second post would be something I round up today, which includes many querys now online about what's the next marketplace in throne; like for example Online Auction Sites Review 2013 | Online Bidding | Bidding Sites - TopTenREVIEWS
Has top ten auction sites, and crowns, for what I can understand, sites competing for the top spots.
Based my research on traffic, safety (Moderation), tariffs and other factors. Here are my top ten:
1. Webstore
2. Amazon
3. eBay
4. iOffer
5. Etsy
6. eBid.net
7. Bonanza
8. SellSimple
9. Craigslist
10. Tophatter.com
Ofcourse, you will see this differently, if you do kindly post it on the bottom of this thread, because thus far I'm limitted to only eBay and Amazon, will love to see new upcoming marketplaces not mentioned above. Cheers!!

Webstore is huge with the amount of listings, but their website makes me want to puke every time I look at it. Absolutely horrible design.

I just learn about them last month, so far no sales, traffic is a bit slow, but you do get interested buyers every once in awhile. I will love to see SellSimple the App on itunes accept PayPal, I would love to link my PayPal Pro, the traffic is augmenting there, every single day I get asked questions. They accept some escrow service call Balance Payments and the payouts are smooth. For those not familiar, is on iTunes for iPhone and iPad.

I'm not sure how anyone can realistically be above ebay and amazon. Bonanaza is not far behind but when you compare the sales ...well you just can't. Its funny how stats can be distorted. Let's say I get more traffic than ebay but the conversion is 1/1000th of it, then whats the point?

I somewhat agree and disagree with that statement, Amazon sales are just incredible, ebay sales as well but the fees if you think about it are off the roof but bigger on their platform. Amazon has two services into one, webstore does produces many sales but again it's free and the buyers are there, they just undecided about buying.

If the fees are 0% but you don't sell then what is the advantage of the no fees?

You're right, the amount of folks just not producing sales on their site is zero, been there and have not produced one sale yet. Things would be gone on eBay by now, to be honest it has potential, do you know any other marketplace that accepts PayPal, similar to eBay? |

1. It's mainly "app-based". While mobile shopping is increasing, most people will still buy with their home computer. And that won't change for many years to come.
2. It's called "Sell"Simple. Not a very attractive name for buyers. Unless I want to sell something I may not even check it out.

@imjustme I said the same thing, what a way to market a product and call it SellSimple, I tell you what tho, I sell more on SellSimple than on Webstore, I think is only a matter of time before they expand, they do updates on App almost every week, why not a website??
