I see craigs list does not like you to post in different areas. So I guess I have to set up several accounts on several computers to post ads across the board. Any other suggestions??

Stealth works on MANY platforms with creativity.

Rephrase your ad and title and you will be able to list where ever you like.

craigslist uses geoiptool to make sure you are close to where you are posting not IPburger whatismyip none of those they use geoiptool and if you are not close to the place you are posting your ads will be ghosted or flagged.

Cl is hard to do to you need experience and skills to do it ie diff ips, phone verified accounts, unique emails, blah blah blah

I list in different areas with no issues in most cases.

Like what we learned here everything has to be organized and your ips etc have to be good.

I sell in a certain category of items and they do not sell well in Florida but sell like hotcakes in the NE and West Coast so I list in those areas.

So far so good for me.

I learn something new everyday KM. I wish I knew what I know today 10 years ago. Dont we all.

Being forced/pushed to go to estate auctions as a child with Grandparents has actually paid off, even after years of saying "Oh gawd, another 6 hours at the auction".

I would love to learn about new products myself, very weak in that area and need to step it up.

cl is so much harder than eBay to post heavy. ip solution is key. and not one that a simple unplug will cure. all geo, need either to rent a rdsl, subscribe to a service, or set up boxes in data centers etc. u need captcha solution ( if they go back to it) that's inexpensive. then things similar to eBay. phone forwarding solution for accounts emails etc. it's very challenging but rewarding.

Partially owned by and in 100% cohorts with EB at all times. The days of CL being a silly text/table HTML based free-for-all site are but a dream. It was awesome while it lasted. Just like EB of yesteryear.

If that's how many you post, then you certainly need to be applying all methods of ste.ealth.

They track IPs, phones numbers, emails, and even down to the exact text and phrases being used in each listing. They now use an automated process to flag accounts marked as spam. Things are much worse than you can imagine. Much, much to learn.

thats not bad numbers but you must vary the posts titles must be different and content must be different

Listen to unkown, I believe he is the CL guru here on the forum.

I still am able to list across country. Seldom get any taken down, did for a while but have not for a while now.

But I always change things up, never use the same pictures, email, ip, description etc.

Just like ebay, you have to go completely stealth and do it well anymore with CL.

Only some stayed up. But all I get is junk scam artists and cr@p about go to my site hookup junk.

That is one curse of CL, scam artists.

Lots to learn, lots to try, a long way to go.

Still learning every day and need to learn more about new products etc.

I know how to source them and have access to a gazillion things but getting it done is another issue.

Lots I would like to try and learn from but no time left.

No wishing at all about it - takes hard work, practice, experimentation....turf warfare tactics - get out there, get your hands dirty - no one in biz is just going to give you their winning equation. Best luck though.
