PayPal alternatives with less hassles, limitations, etc.

Does anyone know a different payment service than PayPal, something that don't always side with the buyers? It seems on PayPal they believe anything a buyer says. It's basically whatever they accuse a seller of, PayPal will side with, unless the seller can prove his/her innocence (and sometimes not even that is enough).

This of course makes PayPal a brilliant way for scammers to get free products out of sellers by filing false claims and getting their money returned. I want something that is more fair and makes it easier for sellers to run their businesses.
Please post your suggestions and any comments you can give me about why they are good. I don't want to sell items on site like eBay, Amazon, etc.,

I want to run my own site and use a shopping cart and the payments should go to my account I have with the payment service, then I should be able to withdraw my sales funds to my bank account. I am not a business, I am an individual selling my personal items.

Sadly - in most circumstances - the buyer will always be right...just the rules of the game krs000aaa - you have to realize that too MANY sellers ruined the system for the legit sellers. Lot of fraud stories reported about sellers too.

That being said - Skrill, Paymate, Propay, BANK merchant processors (those are good for your own website - cc only), google checkout (but be careful if you are selling knockoffs - they can be worse than pp if they smell suspicion)...you have a lot of research to do.

I use moneybookers (skrill) and have never had a problem with it in the past, but I have heard some people have a tough time with them.

Anytime cards are involved chargebacks are involved and rating of the visa or mc user is involved any and all processors have to watch their rating with the card companies which in the end means buyer is right. Not much can be done about that part of business, that is business.

Thanks for your replies! Very much appriciated.
I heard of Moneybookers. What are the downsides about that service, e.g. what kind of problems have you heard sellers having with them?

By the way, what about CCNow? I noticed alot of sellers in Russia and other Eastern Bloc countries rather use this service than PayPal, does anyone know why they rather choose this service than PayPal?

The beauty of CCNow is that it accepts PP as a source of payment and you dont need your own PP account...it is a nice service with bit more of % fee.

One benefit worth noting.

MB (Skrill) is a nice service that people can use to pay with their own MB account or credit card. Downside is that it is not as well known as PP so customers arent fully aware of it. Some buyers will use it but most are completely indoctrinated with PP as being king of payment methods.

There is a thread about CCnow that was up a week or so ago.

Some also like propay but getting customers who are so stuck on paypal to pay is another job.
