Default UK auction sites with buy it now auctions that get decent traffic?

Does anyone know any UK auctions sites that get a reasonable amount of traffic?

They must have buy it now auctions and preferably free unless sales are good.

thanks

Besides eB and Az...there are some like Etsy or very SPECIFIC GENRE sites...depending on your category

Rough category - lot of competition - might also consider your own website. Craigslist too - Facebook sale - sites worth considering

Agreed! These two are the main runners and no one else comes close but there are others...

CQOut, Play.com (Rakuten) and Gumtree are others but they will pull very little and are hardly worth it

thanks for the suggestions. I already have my own website but it doesn't get enough views. I dont know enough about SEO and i'm not willing to pay a lot of money for professionals to do it. I have contacted play.com to become a seller and have also setup an amazon account. Also have a facebook page with links to my website, ebay shop etc..

Is that pretty much all i can do now?

Be receptive to all and any suggestions.

Takes time and a lot of homework.

Good Luck

0 sales from the facebook app that leads to a seperate ecomerce platform. Could have been sales that came from facebook to my ebay shop but seems very unlikely. To get recognised on facebook is it esential to pay facebook to promote your page?

thanks

Not sure that rsot has had enough time to do facebook yet.

He's really very busy.

Hopefully others may chime in with info regarding facebook.

Last I checked facebook there was an expectation of payment. What put me off facebook is its own rules & methods of dealing with issues.

Getting views on facebook that actually converts into sales seems to be pretty hard unless you promote the page and pay a fair amount of money. Doesn't seem worth it unless i can get a lot of sales coming from facebook

I dont remember him ever mentioning anything about selling or even having a facebook page.

He would not have the time to pack any orders from anything but ebay I wouldnt think.

Hopefully the OP looks into all options and comes up with a plan.

I also would go for a website. One of the members here just posted a newly made website and some good info from our website genius members in that thread. Check it out.

Am exploring it as we speak but I am not a fan of FB in general so it takes a bit of time...lot of potential there from what I see but so much BS to wade through in terms of quality assurance and promise.

It is hard work but it can work. I am mindful you are only 17.
