Must to let everybody knows, my affiliate Internet marketing is going well. I sue some blackhat techniques and I also track and copy other Internet marketers Adwords Campaign and do the exact thing they do to make money. So yea i just made $4800 today pure profit. Right now i am about at $400 a day but I did some extra advertising plus black hat and made a killing!

Someone want to explain what affiliate Internet marketing is? Might sound like a newb kind of question but I have never heard of it.

Sounds good, but I heard a ton of horror stories about the aff companies screwing their guys. Clickbooth et al, plus they "wash" your sales and stuff.

Man, I would be very leery about dumping a big wad on an adwords spend and having to rely on the "Integrity" of one of those aff companies to get paid back.

Maybe that just me though.

Right, if you don't want that happening to you stay away from Clickbank...

I used to do really well with them but then I found among other people that their payment system sucks so bad that whenever they have an upgrade half your sales aren't counted for weeks. So I stopped spending money on them.

CJ, and Neverblueads are pretty good though. Azoogleads too.

Aspkin, the whole point of all these forums and such is to one day be able to move away from eBay. Perhaps you could make a thread detailing affiliate marketing? For those who are attempting to make the transition, we need all the help we can get.

Well I guess, webmaster Jungle forums could be that moving away from eBay. But in general the forums are to help people keep selling on eBay.

Affiliate marketing is harder then you think. There is a lot of competition out there and a lot of cost involved.

I find it's better to sell your own product. That's where the money is on the internet.

Hay Aspkin - I have my own product that i am selling. Its called the ultimate Guide to Installing a Furnace the website is Ultimate Furnace Install Guide . Started the site a month ago , and I have been selling about 2 a day , the price is 9.97 per download. I sure would appreciate some sound advice on how to pick up the sales. I see you mentioned that having your own product is the way to go. Maybe we set up a deal??

What imthatguy is doing is affiliate marketing. Basically you try to sell someone else's product for lets say, $49.95. If a customer buys it from you, you get say $30.00. To make them sell you can put it on a website which is called a landing page. Now you usually want to start an ad campaign with google adwords. Those are the ads you see on right on a google search when you search for something. Someone clicks on the ad and goes to your landing page. Then someone buys it with your affiliate ID, you get $30.00 commission. Sell just 10 a day and thats $300. If you know what you are doing, and the product you are promoting doesn't suck, its easy to make money. I've heard of guys making $1000 a day in commission. Of course that is sales, not profit. The commission varies from product to product of course.

There is a lot more to it but thats the basics. I am just starting and I get $2500 a week average in sales. You may think its alot, but there are dudes who do $5000 in ONE day.

agatto2, do you currently use google adwords? How do you provide delivery of your product? I use e-junkie. They store your file and even emails the download link to your customer the instant they pay. You just sit there do nothing. Well almost nothing. They are integrated with google checkout and paypal among others too. All for $5 a month for 100mb of space. Check it out.

Hay 411 --- I have not used google ad words yet. Maybe you could talk me into it though.

I use smartdd for my delivery system. Its fully automated and tied into my paypal account. Smartdd is a great program and its free. Well free if your only delivering up to 3 products. Was kinda a booger to set up though. I will check out the program link you put up

You start at $20 and keep building and building into you're making hundreds even thousands a day. And yes adwords is great for what you're doing, but what's even better is having affiliates promote your product for you. Try Clickbank and the DP forums on affiliate marketing.

Would a blog be a good idea for affiliate marketing?

yes perfect idea. but you would have or most likely want to blog about the products you are trying to sell. blogs are big money makers if you get the visitors!

But are affiliates going to take a blog serious. For example, would walmart or yahoo approve a blog for their affiliate program. I want to opt for a blog because its alot easier to manage.

I have to disagree. Sure a blog it self can do well. But if your sole purpose is to convert visitors into buyers, then a review style website is best.

Example: Dog Training Reviews - Rates - bad example but it is a review website

Just search for what ever niche you're interested in with Google and add 'review' to it. Example Dog Training reviews, or whatever and you'll see review type affiliate websites.

Review style websites were you can compare three or more products is best for affiliates.
