using childs ss and name?
 

I bought the stealth book and am following but I was wondering about taxes when etsy send out tax forms at the end of the year. I plan on using my kids ss. How does that work? or better yet will it work?

It most certainly will not be SENSIBLE to use a child's name or SSN. You have other options such as EIN for taxes.

Before making accounts, you also need to read the forum to get the current trends. The stealth principles of ebay/paypal apply very well to etsy as well.

ok How do I get an EIN? Sorry I'm so new to this stuff and I dont want to be kicked off again.

Never use friends or family for this, it's your business so you need to be fully responsible and financially accountable

You need to go the route of creating a business, could be an LLC and use a DBA and get an EIN , which will be accepted instead of a SS#

Never use your childs info for yourself.

Taking a chance to ruin their fresh start for your current needs is not a good idea at all.

Yeah.. I don't remember this being in the stealth guide.. maybe you misinterpreted what was said.. go with what others have said however. EIN is preferable.

Adding maybe one or two threads with a suggestion like this is a nice method to encourage the learning.
