| glacier922 | 07-17-2014 10:54 PM | best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? In SFB, Aspkin recommends 99designs, but the entry package is kind of expensive. The link SFB provided implied that there were some reject logo designs picked up for discounts, but I guess it's all gone now. Anyone else know of another place to buy logos on the cheap? Perhaps rejects. There has to be lots of these. Thanks. |
Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? Tried Fiverr for custom logos? |

unkown5454 | 07-18-2014 01:00 AM | Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? There are a ton of people on there offering logos for $5. That is hands down the best place for something quick and cheap until you figure out exactly what you want. |

Usual, buyer beware. If you pick carefully, you should do well.
We use the UK site several times a year for different projects.
In terms of cost, they lead the field.
Other sites like odesk or elancer cost more.

glacier922 | 07-18-2014 01:21 AM | Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? That is interesting. 5 dollars is a really good deal. While I'm at it, and I shouldn't start a new thread for this, do any of you guys know of a good lesson program, steps 1-10 or however many I need to go through to be adequate at html? Like Aspkin said, he wants us to get us online quickly instead of spending weeks on designing a web page. w3schools? The New Boston videos?
Under the HTML section, go through all the lessons? Whew, that's a lot. I think Aspkin wrote that it took him a whole weekend? Wow. I know some of the basic html, like linking images, and changing fonts on types, web title pages, but that's about it. Thanks for any input. |
Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? I used Fiverr to make logos for my School's Website project....Got an A! |

glacier922 | 07-18-2014 06:39 PM | Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? @Aspkin,
thanks, I'll check it out. In your opinion, is that the most comprehensive for all you need? I like those lesson plans that basically makes you accomplish all this if you follow steps 1-10, something like that. Kind of like a language class, you finish these 10 books, you have the vocab to express yourself in that other language. Thanks. |
aspkin | 07-18-2014 10:50 PM | Re: best place to buy logos for your products and web pages? Yes, it covered pretty much all I needed as far as HTML goes. It was and still is extremely helpful when modifying or building websites from scratch. I would suggest CSS as well and PHP and MySQL if you want to build dynamic websites but HTML starting off is great and easy to learn. |
