Default Stay away from same zipcode?

I read someone followed right protocol to register on etsy and then he got banned instantly. I was thinking if someone registers with same zip code as previous suspended account, is that a red flag especially if it's similar items that were selling.. I say this because when I purchase wholesale blank tshirts for my business, they ask "what is your zip code" and then list of name gets narrowed down. And if it turns out it's similar items they are selling (even though it's all new items, pictures and description) it gets a flag linked to suspended accounts.. just a theory I guess.

I created most of my accounts in the same zip code, shouldnt be any problem just never the same address or address variation, that would most definitely link the accounts in the long run.

Registering in the same zipcode alone cannot get you linked...otherwise everyone with the same zipcode would be linked to each other and banned.

A new account selling T-shirts in the same ZIP code where an account selling T-shirts was just banned would be very suspicious. So, they are not linking on ZIP code alone, but on ZIP code and what you are selling.

ETSY can be difficult, because the merchandise is somewhat unique. If you want to get back on ETSY, I would recommend creating an account in a different area with new pictures, text, and everything else. Using the same listings, text, pictures, etc. will get you banned.

I never, ever, put the same product in the same general area. That feels like signing my own death warrant. I do strongly believe they are doing address searches.
