How do you manage your 1000 websites?

Hey all. So I've got 1 website set up for adsense and thinking to make 4 more. I also want to get into the affiliate game. I know some people who have as much as 300 websites. My questions is simple but yet I don't know how to do. How do you manage your 300 different user names and passwords? I was thinking about using excel, but every time you login to each website, you have to open up excel and search for login and password for that site. This of course can get tedious. You would have to be a fool to use the same login and password for all websites, clickbank, google adwords/adsense, ebay, ioffer, ebid, etc.

I currently only have 1 website, ebid, ioffer, google adwords/adsense, ebay, paypal, not to mention various forums such as this one. Yet I don't remember some of my passes sometimes. And I plan on starting 1 blog, website per month. I'm afraid I'll be in a mess. Any suggestions?

Well, I used to have one username /password per site and as you said it does get to be a bit much after your 100th site..

Basically what I did was consolidate my sites using HostGator webhosting for the small sites. Get the swap package I think it is, and you can host unlimited websites. I have 3 swamp hosting packages with them and host about 20 sites per package. I log in using one FTP and the sites are divided by folders. It makes it easy to manage multiple sites.

I also use Excel and lots of notepads with specific site information like database information.

I'm somewhat unorganized right now, I need to update a lot of stuff but I've been busy doing other things.

It's not that hard though, find a webhost that you can use for multiple websites and it'll make things easier. I did a lot of research and found that Hostgator (which is hosted at The Planet) is the most reliable webhost out there.

Good luck!

I have been using key wallet for all my sites and important stuff like paypal( It works well). I also try to use the same logon and password for most sites that are forums or what-not and not so important . Like aspkin, i use hostmonster they allow me multiple sites and have live web help , the tecks there are pretty good at what they do.

Key wallet is a free program and should take care of your needs
