I know this has been discussed previously. But would anyone mind sharing their success or opinion of Rakuten now? I do want to sign up, but before I waste my time and money just wondering if the forum can help me out with some testimonials.

At some point your going to need to test out the waters, you can get 1,000 different opinions but until you actually sign up and sell....your not going to know how good or bad the site is.

Yep some off the wall sites have no traffic and other unheard of sites compete with the almighty EB as far as my sells have been its worth a try

I had good success with Playcom.

With Amazon, eBay and Playcom. It was just a high.

Things got tougher with Rakuten. Slow traffic and hardly any sales.

Playcom was much better.

It used to be good, now not so good.

You have to pay 6 months fees up front as well.

Paying the upfront fees and the high commission in the first place is already what has me skeptical. Bonanza has lower fees and that's how they attract sellers I am not sure of Rakuten's business practices for sellers, but I don't think it's going to work to grow. Thanks @eternity4u I'm going to look into playcom, but I am here in the US things are probably different here.

when it was buy it was good and had excellent traffic for me at least. once they changed name things went downhill
