Got a voicemail from NetBiz.com today..
Okay, I posted this over at the DP forums with no replies. Should have posted here in the first place =)
As some of you may know, this is regarding my new store I am in the process of getting up and running......
I am just starting up a brand new women's clothing web site, FRIDAY NIGHT FASHIONS - Clubwear, Dresses, Lingerie, Swimwear + More for Teens, Twenties, Women!
No orders yet, and haven't started any ad campaigns yet as I finish getting the rest of my products up.
But today I received a voicemail from a NETBIZ.com. They informed me that they could have my site placed, guaranteed, 24/7, on the 1st page of google search results when anyone searches the word "clubwear." The supposedly offer this to only one client.
I do not know what they charge yet, as I haven't called them back. They said it's a flat monthly fee, not contracts. I'm sure it will be a big chunk of change.
My questions are 1) Has anyone used NetBiz.com for this service? What do you think of their company?
2) Would it be beneficial for a new company, starting out, to pay for a service such as this? Any big cons to going this route, besides the obvious fact that I am sure it will be costly? Would it be better to just put my finances towards Adwords ad campaigns?
3) How is it even POSSIBLE that they could GUARANTEE something like this?
Please keep in mind that I am a brand new company starting out. I have little to no background in developing, and no experience in marketing.
