vBulletin forums has now been set up on the site.

AllBlab is intended to become a general social forum for anything.

Much to come later! Right now the forums are empty, but that's because I'm not officially launching the site until the new skin is done.

Looks pretty good man! Keep up the good work. I'm planning on getting a forum for my website but I'm not looking to spend money on vbulletin. I'd rather get a free forum software.

I'm also considering getting aspkin a Christmas gift, such as a new vB skin, custom designed and coded for free.

But more than likely in exchange for permanent access to the subscriber's area lol. I realize it wouldn't be a gift then, but I sure would like that lol.

What does coded means?

OK...I'm in, I'll join and see what its like to see what a forum does from the beginning.

The process of creating a web site / forum skin is two-part: Design and coding.

Generally, you have someone design it using graphics software such as Photoshop, and then you need an experienced programmer/coder to code that design to work with your website/forum.

TheyGotMeToo, we launch on New Year's Eve, and posting is disabled until then.

If you're interested in seeing how a forum starts, I'm sure you'll learn a lot from this launch. We have a staff lineup of 6 right now and several site promoters who are active on other forums currently, who will bring AllBlab some attention once it launches.

Mainly, to run a forum, you need to give people reasons to come back. Contests and such are great for this, especially when cash prizes are involved. However, one thing you have to watch is what kind of audience you attract, because your memberlist foundation needs to match your site goals (you don't want gamers coming to a forum about travel and spamming your place/taking it over).
