was your etsy slow BEFORE suspended
 

Before my etsy account was suspended, i noticed my etsy became very slow.
For example, very slow in adding a listing, very slow in editing a listing.
After a few days, my account was gone.
Was it just me or do you have the same feeling?

i feel etsy make the connections slow for the accounts they don't like and it is a sign of suspension. does anyone has the same feeling?

My sales actually went way up just before it was shut down. I had received 1 notice on a friday morning so I was bracing for something to happen. That weekend, I sold a ton and Monday was shut down permanently.

I didn't notice any delays in adding/editing prior to my initial suspension. Traffic was normal, sales were normal as well.

AS they said above. Mine felt normal . Sales were high. Activity was high. I think they start paying attention when you start getting a certain amount of money( i.e too much).IMO :nono:

idk maybe it was when they were putting out that new listings layout. Mine was kinda buggy during that time .

what would be some reasons for getting suspended on esty? i thought handmade items were sold there and not high risk items like vero

It's finally been getting flogged by people selling name brand stuff and cheap Chinese products, trying to pass them off as handmade. So, now they aren't being so laid back and suspending all the morons trying to sneak below the radar.

I'm sure it's the reason why there has been a recent uptick in Et.sy suspension threads here.

I'm glad. One of my competitors just got taken out who was spamming like crazy for 3 months with an inferior Chinese version of what I sell. P.iss on all of them.

I got suspended reselling licensed product that I had the license to sell. 4 warnings in 1 day took me down.
