What kind of software is this?
 

Anyone heard of NVU software? It's supposed to offer most of the features of Dreamweaver and Frontpage in a WYSIWYG editor. It sounds interesting but wasn't sure of the quality.

Never heard of it before, but it looks interesting. Let us know how it is.

Nvu is actually a highly recommended free open source program. I've been playing with it for a few days, and it's the one I like best. I don't know much about site design and HTML, so some of it's a little over my head though.

i know nothing about website design, and used perfect website creator, its NVU (im pretty sure) and if iI(one whos knows nothing about web design) can do it, you can. the software i have doesnt come with great troubleshooting guides.. so when you get stuck, you kinda gotta figure it for yourself.. but once you learn how to navigate around, its pretty easy.. then you are suppose to be able to "publish with a click of a button" which i found not to be true, so i exported the file, then simply downloaded the file to ftp and then downloaded the pics used aswell.. and walaaa... website is published.. im a total newbie at this, but if you happen to have the same software you can PM me with questions and ill try to help the best i can.

aw crap.. i just saw the post i replied to was from 07... neeeever mind about the help needed i guess. that'll teach me to read more before posting.
