| brandnewboss | 12-31-2015 08:28 PM | Codecademy.com Anyone know of any sites or apps similar to codecamy.com that work for iPad, the site itself doesn't work with iPad which sucks worse than my roast blend coffee. |

Now that I understand what you're asking, I don't know of any real alternatives for that. Back in the day I used to use w3's editor to practice, and dreamweaver to implement. |

| phaz0rz | 01-01-2016 10:57 AM | Re: Codecademy.com I'm pretty sure he's looking for a web-based HTML editor to practice on. But trying to edit HTML on an iPad sounds like a nightmare no matter how it's done.
w3 is an option, they have an interactive HTML editor - HTML Tutorial |
| brandnewboss | 01-01-2016 11:54 AM | Re: Codecademy.com I'm touching up on my html, css and java skills, not trying to design any sites on the iPad just trying to get some practice in when I'm out and about |
| brandnewboss | 01-01-2016 12:46 PM | Re: Codecademy.com What's good about codecademy is your not just reading or watching video's, they give you excercises so you get hands on practice as you go with an online editor. I can still use it on my laptop it's just I usually only bring my iPad when I'm out on the town |
| phaz0rz | 01-01-2016 12:51 PM | Re: Codecademy.com w3 is very similar to what you are describing. They have a tutorial for every HTML tag, every CSS option, and every JS script. Plus they have an interactive editor which you could use from you iPad.
Alternatively, a quick Google search on my end yielded several HTML editor apps for Apple devices. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ipad+html+editor |

That's the link, you should check it out for real. They've updated the site quite a bit since the last time I was on there. But they have absolutely everything there is to learn, and you're getting it straight from the source.
This is the editor used with all of their tutorials: Tryit Editor v2.6 |

;) | I don't think you can load windows on a iPad, I've looked into that before.
The swift app looks pretty good though, I'll check it out, thanks. |
