Shopify now promoting drop shipping?

I just received this email from Shopify. I am intrigued.

Anyone else seen this? Thoughts?

shopify is just to make a website. There will be no little/ no traffic unless you have a plan to get traffic. List products on ebay and stop over thinking

Actually you are wrong. You do small marketing plans and choose the right products and you gets sales and hits. Been doing shop if dropshipping and shopify for bit now and so far liking it. Selling my own goods as well which helps the traffic.

Can you explain a little bit more about your small marketing plan?

I looked into the Shopify dropshipping, but it only explains what dropshipping is. Do they offer their very own dropshipping service, and provide items to you, or what?

I think they are primarily promoting dropshipping with some of their apps like Oberlo for Aliexpress products. This this has them promoting Facebook advertising for those particular products.
