| | | simogold | 02-12-2009 05:48 PM | Anybody auto blogging here? Anybody auto blogging here?
i am trying to go try this field now. i received an email from my old friend, he i doing good in auto blogging. he has like 100 blogs with different niches making like $200 to $300 each/ month with them using Adsense and cpa.
he is not doing any adwords to promote them . just organic traffic. |
| yaw1800 | 02-12-2009 06:31 PM | How does he make money off of it? |
| Jonas | 02-12-2009 08:51 PM | How does one generate auto content that looks like real text and isn't plagarism? |
| aspkin | 02-12-2009 10:47 PM | Ahh, autoblogging.
Not as easy as one thinks, but to this day it still makes me money.
At my peak I had about 100 autoblogs. I'm slowing starting to get rid of the low traffic ones, and focusing on my higher traffic ones.
I just wish when I started I focused on more profitable niches. :)
I'm going to start creating more autoblogs in the coming months. |
| yaw1800 | 02-13-2009 01:00 AM | Can someone please fill me in on exactly how this works??
i've googled it but the results i found dont quite put it into perspective |
| aspkin | 02-13-2009 01:17 AM | It's just a blog you setup that auto posts content to itself using plugins, and other content sources. I use RSS2Blog.
And you make money on it with stuff like adsense, and affiliate programs.
Here is one of my older autoblogs that gets around 1000 visitors a day. Daily Lineage 2 Adena Guides
It hasn't been updated in awhile, I lack the content for it, but it still gets good traffic.
The main thing for autoblogs to work is good solid content that people want to read, and lots of backlinks. |
| simogold | 02-13-2009 08:47 AM | do you host them all in the same server or hosting company.
do you have one Adsense account with them all or many?
If you are focusing about the games, try to put some Video inside them and submit it to all the Video sites like Youtube using Like TubeMogul (Free) and you will be surprised about the traffic and also about the ranking in Search Engine.
Thank you Aspkin |
| aspkin | 02-13-2009 08:57 AM | I have them spread out over several hosting accounts. I try to limit how many I have on one IP address. And I just have one adsense account. |
| GREMLIN | 02-13-2009 01:10 PM | Just a quick question
You said that you use a rss feed programme. im not very familiar with this however i write articles on ezine and they have something to do with rss feeds also. So am i right in saying that the articles in your blog are from rss feeds and other peoples' articles?
Hope this makes sense. Im trying to get into blogging but not sure how it actually works and where the traffic will come from. Any help would be great. I currently use the blogger and just have a page with offers that can be found on my website and then link to my website. Not sure where i will get the traffic from for my blogger though
cheers |
| aspkin | 02-13-2009 04:13 PM | The articles I have had limited publishing, so I was one of only a few who had access to them. I simply set them up with my software and it auto posted to my blog over a couple months.
The other way to do it is wp plugins.
There's a whole list of good plugins. I'll post a few later on. |
| Jonas | 02-14-2009 02:23 AM | So auto blogs are pure plagiarized content, correct? |
| aspkin | 02-14-2009 02:49 AM | No way, you can have your own content, it doesn't really matter.
Most autoblogs either scrap, or use duplicate content though.
Not so much plagiarized.
Well some is plagiarized, but most is okay to use, like ezine articles. |
| Jonas | 02-14-2009 02:50 AM | But if you write your own content, that's a slow process and not autoblogging. |
| aspkin | 02-14-2009 02:54 AM | Right, or you can out source it at a few bucks an article but that's costly. |
| philly387 | 02-16-2009 12:17 AM | Why wouldnt you just take a couple hours and think of some topics that might interest others? |
| GreenBean | 02-16-2009 12:23 AM | Who would have a few hours to do that when they lead a busy life already?;) |
| aspkin | 02-16-2009 12:29 AM | Hehe, right.. blogging takes time.
As some of you guys may have noticed I haven't blogged in awhile.
I've been working on other projects and put it aside for now. Blogging takes a lot of time.
But I'll get back to it soon. :) |
| yaw1800 | 02-16-2009 01:18 AM | you guys mean the same blogging like posting a story on wordpress / blogspot or does this involce opening your own site?? |
| aspkin | 02-16-2009 01:19 AM | Either or..
I have my own domains and hosting for everything.. I don't like to build something to lose it later on for whatever reason. |
| yaw1800 | 02-16-2009 01:25 AM | at this point i wouldnt mind selling my soul for a few extra bucks lol...
i'll look into this, Thanks for the quick reply Aspkin |
| Riolas | 02-16-2009 07:35 AM | I have about 20 autoblogs, extremely easy to set up after you do the first, beyond the first, each additional one can be done in as fast as 1 hour.
Remember, using duplicated content means Google will penalise you and may not even index your page (or if it does, inlude it in the secondary results or if you are lucky, the standard search results page)
Drop me a PM, I would be glad to give a few tips or perhaps, set up an autoblog for you. |
| BlumbySum | 03-31-2009 08:30 AM | If you want to use some of the plug-ins available from using Wordpress (self-hosted - not the free one) you'll need the WP-O-Matic plugin. It's easy to set-up (in the WP admin area) and you can also replace any words from RSS feeds to link to whatever page you want. The affiliate commission implications tha tfeature alone make it worthy of at least trying out - but yes, it'll take "some" work to set it all up obviously. But like Aspkin says definteily spread them out over several hosting accounts. Forget the lure of "ulimited domains". |
| GREMLIN | 07-08-2009 07:22 AM | could I just ask what the issue would be if you host on one hosting account? |
| aspkin | 07-08-2009 07:57 AM | |
| GREMLIN | 07-08-2009 08:30 AM | Hi Aspkin
Your ebook looks like just the thing I am looking for - before I purchase it I wanted to know if there isanything else I will need to purchase in order to get the process started - I mean will i need to purchase the wp plugin or are they free?
cheers |
| aspkin | 07-08-2009 08:38 AM | If you need some WP plugins, let me know I can share. :)
Most plugins are free though, just some special ones you might need and can pm me about. |
| GREMLIN | 07-08-2009 08:41 AM | great aspkin im in gonna go and buy it now. i actually read your reviews on the digital point forums and must say that they were excellent.
Im gonna go purchase it now
just a quick question and hope you dont mind - do you write your own sales pages. its certainly a great sales page you have.
cheers |
| aspkin | 07-08-2009 08:48 AM | Yes I write my own sales pages.
I had some practice with Webmaster Blueprint.
I wrote up AutoblogBook.com in just half an hour, Starbucks coffee helped. :) |
| aspkin | 07-08-2009 08:55 AM | Read through it, let me know what you think. If you need some plugins send me a PM.
I'm going to be away for awhile, I just finished up an all nighter with another one of my websites.. :thumb:

| philly387 | 07-08-2009 01:25 PM | What is even better about the autoblog book, is that you can actually use some of the information even if it isn't for a blog! |
| GREMLIN | 07-10-2009 05:03 AM | yup and some good website promotion tactics are included |
| pinchaloaf | 08-15-2009 03:38 PM | could this be used with the google blogger? |

I don't recommend blogger blogs for autoblogs, they usually don't last long from what I've seen. FAQ :Autoblog Book - The Ultimate AutoBlogging Guide by Aspkin |
| Ghost | 04-19-2010 10:08 PM | Is anyone else here is having success with this? I'm just starting out currently. |
| tbeezy | 05-30-2010 11:51 AM | I was thinking about making one for iPhones and whatnot as that seems to be popular. |
