 5 Tips to Drive Traffic From Google
Since Google is strict about its rules, you'll need to play by those rules. Don't trust anybody who'll tell you do this and do that, especially those who will teach you false principles that will not get you traffic but will get you penalized by Google.
In short:
1. Your goal and focus is to create relevant content, specifically design it in a way that will appeal to the kind of visitor you want. This is the "secret" ingredient. Imagine the kind of content that is so good that the one who see it will want to share it, one invites two, two invites four and so on.
Remember that Google will be screening your website, and will rank your website if you provide VALUE.
2. Make it your job to think and be creative, feed Google with information and Google will love you. Remember not any information, RELEVANT information is what Google wants and will reward for.
Don't worry about others, focus on your efforts. Better yet, create a schedule it doesn't have to be strict but you have to keep the information coming.
3. Learn HTML, focus on Metadata, this is the language that Google love and understand. The most important being Title Metadata & Description Metadata
Nothing fancy, learning some HTML, will give you some advantage and accelerate the process.
4. Be creative with your descriptions, try to strategically insert the most relevant keywords in them. Think: What terms and words that most likely the visitor will type in Google so that your website will pop up? This can be complicated but try to understand how your visitor will think...
5. Beside catchy titles and descriptions, add videos and pictures, and other multimedia... Don't forget to use the appropriate alt tags to each file you upload, don't miss even one. If you break this rule, Google will not understand you and will ignore you as a result.
Follow and respect this rules religiously, and you'll have an overflow of traffic, no luck involved.
It takes time, so be patient and avoid shortcuts as they're actually dead ends. If you persist, it'll may few weeks or few months, and all the traffic you want will be yours to have and to hold.
