Why we use email marketing? Any benefits of it?

- It creates more opportunities for you to reach potential customers
- It helps to build your brand and establish name recognition for your business
- It allows you to announce sales without customers visiting your store
- It allows you to advertise new product launches without customers visiting your store
- If you're mass-mailing, you can bring lots of new traffic to your store


Stuff like that. It's mainly about making your business memorable so new customers will be attracted and old customers will be enticed to return.

The real questions are 1) what is preventing you from email marketing? 2) are you trying to convince yourself that you want to get in that game?

Without a list, subscribers, followers, friends... you have very little.

The bigger your list the more money you can make. It's as simple as that.

Imagine a following of a million people.

One tweet, video, podcast, email ... and you have instant sales.

Without that following.. you have nothing.

How big is your following?

I pay for 2 auto-responder services.

Biggest site has list 100,000 emails best $1000 spent buying that site.

100,000 about high end list want. Once get much past it too much server strain email people. I know few own million plus member list they never use them due to that.

When income down I use all my list email people.

Key finding good auto-responder which allows unlimited use for $15-20 a month range both ones I use allow that. One more user friendly other has better affiliate program.

It's easy to forget about the importance of email, with so many social networks and communication choices available. But email is superior for the reasons mentioned here. It can feel more personal to the receiver and can allow for responses later, as it doesn't die. Just because someone doesn't respond immediately, doesn't mean s/he won't respond. And email isn't a fad or flavor of the month. It's here to stay, unlike some of the networks we've seen fall out of favor.

Social networks have their uses and can be great tools, but they shouldn't replace email in your arsenal of engagement with your audience.

no , people who buy on amazon and ebay think mostly they buy to an individual seller. They dont need more communication and some of them them are so bored with it that they can left a negative feedback because you send them too many emails.

I market in the automotive industry and about 60% of my clients request phone calls, they don't LIKE email. These are corporate people like BMW etc etc. It's seemingly becoming a trend.
It depends on your service industry.

Every niche is different but Email is still important.

Whats interesting is social media influencers with millions of followers and the power they yield with 1 tweet, Instagram post, YouTube video, etc. While the traditional email list is still powerful, social media is the new vehicle for capturing subscribers.

I'm working at SEO and -for me- the principal use of email marketing is that it is more effective than social media for acquiring new customers. Also, it converts more accessible to your brand to mobile users. Do not forget the comfort of your customers.

Email marketing is very important if you want a serious online business. If you have the phone numbers or you have them as subscribers on facebook, that is good, too.
