Can the eBay iOS app detect and link your Apple ID? I have a new iPhone, never used the eBay app on this device but I have used the eBay app w/a banned account on another device using the same Apple ID.

unlikely. However, most apple devices are 1 account per.. where is android is very private. Can make new users on mobile and make 3-4 per user without any links

Interesting, does that require rooting and modifying the UUID for each user or do developers not have access to that anymore? I understand with iOS developers can track the UUID (device ID).

read the following link, youll get a clearer picture. Apple changes the UUID every time the app is launched. Apple will never share your IMEI. What they can share is your unique ad ID which is changed when you delete or reinstall the app. If you want to be safe just do a hard reset on your iphone every time you need a new account and create a new apple ID.

I've been against using a mobile device to do any of my accounts.

Either way especially with amazon a mobile device is just not ideal

Is that due to tracking or their half-baked seller app? How about using browser on mobile that you only use for eBay/Amazon selling? It's just so convenient to be able to list on mobile for some us on the go.
