New laptop - Moving accounts
 

HI Guys,

I have my accounts under separate users on a dedicated laptop. Its had its day and i need to upgrade.

Is there something i need to be doing specifically when setting up the users on the new laptop? anyone else done this?

I cant remember anything specific in the stealth guide

I was just going to literally add new users again to the new laptop as i did before

If you want you can save cookies from the old browser in any single OS account and upload them in the new browsers then you can go
But you can go even without

You could virtualize your old laptops and run them as virtual machines on your new computer, so you KNOW all your account data stays in place. vmware and virtualbox can virtualize a physical machine.

It's a little over the top but it's an option. :noidea:

Yeh i might save the cookies actually, that was kind of what i was thinking was necessary

Thanks phaz, definitely an option. I did install parallels before but it wasnt playing ball on my M1 mac :(

Might have a go at the others though as id rather not carry 2 laptops when i travel

you are safe as long as you have full access to email and phone

a transfer to another computer may lead to access problems in the worst case

at least with ebay

Is Paralle doesn’t work well with M1 Mac ?
