Is there any extra steps I need to take to config the VM?? Or can I just install Mozilla and I'm good to go?

VMs should work too but apparently your mobile devices aren't killing your accounts.
You will still need to get past the same limitations even if you use VMs.
VM+Browser+Mobile IPs will work, but there's more in between you need to be aware of. In my opinion, paypal uses fingerprinting. You'd need to keep from been associated with other accounts.
You'd be better off dedicating a few hours reading up on it on the forum.
