Hello everyone! Introducing myself.
Hello guy! I'm Mich.
I have had my one account with eBay for most of my time with eBay since 2003. Started selling on and off for the first eleven years through eBay. I started selling more seriously in early 2015 and was doing fantastic. Later that year all of the sudden my account got restricted. They were asking me to provide additional information about my invoices for the items I was selling as well as copies of my bank statements, social security number and driver's license. I would not have any issues sending them my invoices as well as a copy of my id, but copies of my bank account statements and social security number? The thought of random strangers looking at my bank account activities as well as my ss number flying around like that I just couldn't do, so I didn't send them anything. Decided it wasn't worth the hassle and that was that for my original account. I could still buy, but not sell anymore.
Early 2016, I opened another eBay account, with totally different info. Only was able to sell 15 items/$1,500 per month. Until last month that I called, told them a b.s. story and they were only able to raise it to 50 items/$10,000 a month after one year.
Now, I just opened yesterday another eBay account with different info, of course. I am now only able to sell 5 items/$500 a month. Wtf? I can't even bid on items. I am restricted to only purchase "buy it now" listings. That is crazy!
Anyway, that's just a little bit about myself and some reasons why I decided to join these forums. Hope to learn from everyone here.
