PayPal limited my $1.5k a month

PayPal limited my $1.5k a month. After I provided all documentation and receipts, etc... they put my account on a provision that they take 25% of each item I sell and will repay me in 6 months and plush they help $2500 of my Paypal money in case of disputes during the 6 months.
So in turn it ruins my business because I literally have nothing.

Did you have a high dispute rating? Usually for them to put a rolling reserve you are either getting a lot of disputes or you are selling very high risks items.

If you sell well, have little disputes, you can often call paypal and have part of the rolling reserve released early and the percentage reduced.

A few years ago one of my selling partners had this put in place. His sales gone from a few thousand a year to tens of thousands a month. Paypal requested all his details(social security number) and did not like his credit score or something on his credit. He would call in regularly and get some of the funds released and the reserve lowered and it was gone altogether within the 6 months.

I had a similar issue with Paypal UK. I had a rolling reserve after I changed names after the Ex passed away. I was forced to do this for Estate duty reasons.

I called in every 5-6 weeks. After about 11 months, all got sorted. Less than impressed as I always ran the account.
In essence, I am agreeing with yankee it is possible to come back strong.
