VAT and Ebay
 

Have acquired an ebay account that was VAT Registered , have now crossed the threshold for `vat ,if I upload my VAT number which is having name of the store will that get picked up by ebay?

Not sure I fully understand the question? Are you looking to add in another VAT number?

Sorry for not being clear.

1. purchased an ebay account a year ago that was VAT registered , changed the store name and contact details
2. Have hit the VAT threshold, ebay have restricted account until VAT details updated as old VAT is deregistered
3. New VAT number with new contact name and with the store name is added.
Will ebay verify and link the VAT back to old owner?

Its possible that they can check the VAT number to see if the names match
