Questions Prior To Purchasing Guide
 

Hey Folks. Just have a few questions before purchasing the guides here. This is in regards to a USA accounts.

First my issue is with Biz PayPal and not eBay. So made a stupid mistake with my long standing Biz PayPal account and made some small bitcoin related transactions which has now caused my account to be limited.

SO what I need is a way to attach a new Paypal to my existing Biz eBay account. Is this covered specifically in the guide or is this even doable? I'm really trying to continue to use my existing eBay account because of its rep and feedback if at all possible.

The guide is going to advise against you doing that. Adding a new Paypal to your eBay is as easy as putting the new PP account's email address in the payment field when you make listings. The problem is that it's easy for Paypal to see you've started sending payments to a new Paypal account after your old one got in trouble. eBay's and Paypal's are linked together by internal account ID #'s that can't be changed by users. Your eBay account ID # is going to follow you around forever no matter how many PP's you make, or how many times you try to change your email/username.

It will work short term. It could work for days, weeks, or maybe even months. But your days will be numbered regardless since it would only be a matter of time before Paypal catches on and links your two accounts (applying the same limitation to both).

Starting off with a new eBay and Paypal is the only way to do this safely.'

EDIT: Is your eBay account showing an invite into managed payments? Getting into managed payments is the only way you're going to be able to safely continue selling on your old eBay account.

Thanks for shedding that much needed light on my current situation phaz0rz. Not sure about the managed payment aspect but will immediately go check on that.

Ohh one more thing guys. I remember clearly PayPal demanding I give up my SSN a few years back even though I had a business account.

Does the guide provide a solution for this as I'm betting even if I create a whole new biz and apply for PayPal at some point if those ****ers ask for SSN surely they will link my old account to the new account correct?

I remember about the SSN stuff, you can ignore that.

When they are for something like that it's usually because your activity flagged your account.

So the guide will tell you basic foundation and good operation procedure to avoid issues

OK Guys thanks to all that replied. Getting the guide either way as $20 is nothing. Just wanted to make sure I would not be wasting my time trying to build new accounts that would simply not end up working. :)
