DHL Letter from Canada goes through customs twice?
 

I’m excepting A document that was shipped out of Canada to Fort Myers Florida via DHL so I got stuck in the customs in Canada then it arrive in Cincinnati Ohio this morning cleared customs it says that it was flown to Miami Florida now it’s stuck their final destination is Fort Myers Florida it has to go through customs twice in the United States? (This document was supposed to be overnighted it was supposed to be here Friday and it’s Saturday p.m. and it’s in Miami sitting there) Customs don’t work 24 hours a day?

Probably just a delay.
Packages do not have to go through customs twice.

Well that’s what I thought but for a document delivery that was supposed to be here Friday in Fort Myers and the fact that DHL is not open on the weekends and their hours are 9 to 5 I personally think they’re not a company I would ever use thank you so much for your help I appreciate it

in UK it can go through customs twice thats quite normal for eample shipment comes into east midland airport and clear customs then gotos to Heathrow and goes through again customs and then to final destination

I would not worry about this

The only worry is that it’s a contract to purchase a home I’m a Realtor and you pay overnight fees and they don’t care when you get it so that’s what bothers me but thank you for the help
