I'm having a horrible time with vanilla gift cards
Hello everyone, I'm glad to be here! Ok, so I bought 2 vanilla gift cards on separate days. When I tried to assign a zip code to the card it kept telling me that it was invalid. I called customer service and assigned zip on the automated system. I bought something on ebay, with the card. The next day I won an auction or got an offer and went to pay for it with same card and it was rejected. The item price was below my balance on card. VGC customer service was no help. So I tried the automated thing again and it said the card did not have a zip assigned. So, I'm an idiot, I buy another Visa gift card, go to assign zip and it comes up invalid as well! I could call and get replacement cards but I don't think it will do any good because I can't assign zip codes to these so what would change? Please if anyone can help with the $26 balance on the one and $50 balance on the other? Has anyone been through this? I've never ever had trouble with these cards until now. |
