got a message from ebay today...FR0RC002: eBay Account
 

Hello all! I'm so glad to have found this site!

I recieve a message from ebay today and I'm worried that if I send them the stuff they want they will report me to police..I maybe worried for nothing but I dont trust them..should I fax them what they want??

Any ideas would be awesome! Thanks:help:

1. A copy of an official, Government-Issued Photo ID (Driver's license,
passport, etc.)
2. A recent copy of Utility Bill, bank statement or credit card
statement to validate address.
3. Most recent purchase invoice of items being sold.

If you send them what they *want*, I can't imagine why they would report you to the authorities. Assuming you are able to provide proofs that they accept as satisfactory and that there is nothing illegal about the transaction(s) involved, you're fine. If you fail on either criteria, you've very likely already been reported.
