New eBay User, hello
 

Hi, new possible eBay user although after reading this Forum for the last couple of hours, i'm not sure if i'll be using eBay for my core Business...LOL

Thanks for the welcome & yeah i do have a story..

Not a hugley interesting one but a Story none the less & one that in hindsight i could/should have avoided..

I was attempting to donate to a specific Charity, without initially informing them as i wasn't really selling a great deal, eBay must have got a whiff of it, checked with the Charity & they suspended me & my Palpal Account..

My fault & a Schoolboy error for not contacting the Charity initially to advise them that i wanted to donate.

eBay a few weeks later on top of that said that there was a seperate Intelectual Property Rights infringement which there 100% wasn't, they couldn't provide any details except who it was who lodged the complaint, they gave me contact details of the people, i made contact three times without getting a response back, advised eBay this & never heard anything again from anyone..

It was a big Global Brand & it was a case of " Big Fish V Little Fish " in my opinion.

2 Months later Paypal limited my Account, this time without giving any details whatsoever, saying that i was sellign Counterfeit items, which i wasn't..

They limited my Account for 180 days & i have x amount of $$ sitting there which i can't access..

I'm sure there are a million of these Stories out there & many of them are on this Site..

Paypal automated Customer Service Emails didn't help in the slightest & eBay's Customer Service was also a Joke, i feel/felt incredibly let down by both but i shouldn't have been so naive..

Glad i found this Site anyway..;)
