Scaling eBay Sales After 90 Days

I have a question for sellers who have already gone through this.

If an eBay account has been selling for about 90 days with clean seller metrics, no defects, good tracking, and consistent sales around $10,000 per month, is it realistic to increase sales to $50,000+ per month fairly quickly?

Has anyone successfully scaled from around $10k/month to $50k/month or more, and if so, did eBay place any additional reviews, verification requests, holds, or limitations on the account as sales increased?

I'd appreciate hearing real-world experiences from sellers who have gone through this

I can tell you for sure that there's no problem with that as long as you scale your growth at a pace that you can handle. If you're top rated with a low return rate after 90 days with that kind of sales.. eBay wants you to keep it growing. As long as you're a good seller.. the more you sell, the more money they make.

All that really matters is proving that you can stay on top of customer service, because that's what's liable to cost eBay money if you fall short.

I am a real person who has gone through this several times.

you can increase by 20%-30% per month , 10K is a lot and you are likely already under bot observation , if performance goes down this amount is heavy enough to get you suspended even for small problems

always keep in mind that ebay is a platform run by bots , you start making large turnover quickly and you get easily taken down by bots and once you turn to humans hoping to resolve the misunderstanding you will be confronted by indians and philippinos with limited english skills who will be repeating to you everything the bots already told you in emails , just like parrots

in general I do not recommend anyone to make a turnover of more than $5K-$7K per month regardless of any other factors

I get an American rep on the phone every time eBay calls me and they just called me last week about eBay live. There are tiers to customer service. If you're scammy you'll get suspended and hit with the overseas reps.

jumping up to 30k from 8k is close to 300% sales velocity...you should be ramping up slower

You can do it. Just stay on top of your metrics and ship everything with tracking. eBay wants you to succeed. They're barely staying relevant compared to Amazon so they desperately need reliable American sellers. ;)

ellinas40 hasn't stated his/her category of sales - that helps for understanding.
